I’m a Waldorf School educator, a translator, a world traveler, an adventurer, a child advocate, a mother of three boys and grandmother of two beautiful young children.

A free spirit at heart and as time has passed also a visionary. I have at this point in my life decided that it’s time to locate my life purpose and I think, no I am sure it’s to be found in the American southwest. It feels like I’m returning home and I look forward to working with and helping children and families in this region.

On December 21, 2008 I fly to Phoenix to start my adventure.  Below is a photo of me when I was at the Grand Canyon the summer of 2007.

The school year of 2006 to 2007 I was on what I called an educational sabatical in the US. I started out in the Washington DC area where I grew up and had my formative years.  Wonderful friends let me stay with them or rented me their second home for the price of utilities so that I could volunteer my services to the non-profit child advocasy, Justice for Children.  During the fall of 2006 I worked with the regional director of JFC Washington DC, Eileen King. After taking a rather long Christmas break and attending a writers class, I packed up my 11 year old Subaru and headed west out of DC, located  Route 40somewhere just west of Virginia and followed it  through many states and into Flagstaff, AZ.
